Mr. Jerry Wayne Worsham, 68, of Grenada, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence.  He was born June 18, 1951 in Charleston to James Carey and Myrtis Evelyn Wilson Worsham.  He was a retired farmer and truck driver having driven for Cooper Freight, Averitt and AAA Cooper for many years.  Jerry honorably served in the Mississippi National Guard for 22 years and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.  An avid outdoorsman, Jerry always enjoyed hunting and was blessed with the opportunity to go on a Hope Outdoors hunt last year.  He was also a competitive sports fan, always enjoying watching a football game.

Private graveside services will be held Good Friday, April 10, 2020 at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery at Paynes with Rev. Tim McCaffrey officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Smith Worsham; one daughter, Sharee Reyna(Charles) of Grenada; one son, Wayne Worsham(Amy) of Mooreville; two sisters, Sharon Coleman of Woodstock, GA and Pam McDonald of Pontotoc; and four grandchildren, Jon Taylor Worsham, Emma Claire Worsham, John Gabriel Reyna and Joshua Daniel Reyna.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Leslie Worsham.

Memorials may be directed to Gideons International or Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada.
