All events for the 86th Annual NGAMS conference will be at the IP Casino Resort Spa, 850 Bayview Ave, Biloxi, MS 39530. There is a block of rooms listed below. Reservations can be made by calling the numbers and/or links below. All links are on our website at www.ngams.org under the “Event” then “State Conference” tab.
For Call-In Reservations to IP Casino Resort Spa, call 1-888-946-2847, press “1” for reservations, identify yourself as being with our group using the following Group code: NGAE24C.
Reservations can also be made for the IP Casino Resort Spa on NGAMS website at www.ipbiloxi.com/groups. Please be aware you will also need the Group Code NGAE24C for booking online. Room rates for Thursday, Friday and Saturday are as follows:
Thursday $79.99
Friday $162.99
Saturday $162.99
IP Casino has 12% tax (this includes the Harrison County accommodations tax and state sales tax).
Please note that to save money for our members the National Guard Association of Mississippi is paying the $14.00 per night resort fee and the taxes applied to the resort fee. Therefore, the price of the rooms may be listed higher with the hotel. However, we will make the adjustment prior to the conference.
Block deadline is Monday, April 22, 2024.
EVERYONE IS REMINDED TO MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS WITH THE HOTELS. YOU MUST RESERVE EARLY TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE INCLUDED IN THE BLOCK OF ROOMS SET ASIDE.
ALL REGISTRATIONS OTHER THAN ROOM RESERVATIONS ARE HANDLED ON A PRE-REGISTRATION BASIS ONLY AND IS DUE IN THE NGAMS OFFICE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, April 22, 2024. Tickets for events will NOT be available at the Registration Desk. Cancellations will be honored with full refund until 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024, if you contact NGAMS.
As we often get this question from spouses and guests here is a guide for attire:
Golf- Collared shirt with shorts or pants
Tennis- Collared shirt with shorts or tennis skirt
Bowling- Casual. Many teams will have matching t-shirts. Blue jeans or shorts are fine.
5K Run/Walk- Running attire to include running shoes
Note that the skeet range was not available this year.
Friday Night Social- Theme is Red Carpet Movie Gala! Most are dressing like their favorite movie characters or stars. However t-shirts and shorts are fine if you really want to relax. There will be music and dancing for those who are so inclined.
Business Session- Military: OCP. Civilian: Business casual.
Spouse Luncheon- Audrey Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s outfits such as the little black dress.
Unit dinner- Military: Mess Dress or ASU with bow tie/Class A
Civilian men: Suit or coat and tie; no tuxedos required
Civilian women: Short or long formal evening dress
